Smallon purpose.Chosen on purpose.

De Vijftig is a private dinner society of exactly fifty people. Not a network, not a list you can buy onto — a table you are invited to.

It works because the table is small. Six to eight seats a dinner, drawn from the fifty — few enough that there is one conversation, not four. The arrangement changes every time, so a season introduces you to the room a table at a time. Make either number bigger and you lose the only thing worth showing up for.

Curated for you.

Twelve tables, one season.

Twelve dinners, each at a different table in Amsterdam. No agenda, no phones — and you learn where you are eating twenty-four hours before you eat there.

The members are the product.

The room is the menu.

Founders, investors, chefs, artists, scientists — each one vouched for. Seating changes every dinner, so you end the season knowing people by name, not by title.

Nothing to pay until you sit down.

Free to hold. Not free to waste.

No yearly fee, because a yearly fee would give us a reason to let anyone in. You pay per dinner, €125 and up — miss one without a word and your chair goes to the waitlist.
